Hey Friends!

As a lot of you have seen (and participated in), I offered mini sessions this year. I knew I wanted to plan a couple days just for Fall mini sessions, after all, it is my favorite season, but what I didn’t expect was just how excited all of you would be for them! They were so popular that I wanted to do something special for the Holidays too.

After searching for a good location, I found a beautiful Christmas Tree Farm (que Taylor Swift’s “Christmas Tree Farm” single) I knew would be perfect! I wasn’t sure how many people would be interested in braving the cold out in the countryside of Spotsylvania for more mini sessions, but much to my surprise again, these sessions sold out in less than two days!

In a recent instagram post, I talked about some things I do to get myself in the holiday spirit, but y’all, I think holiday mini sessions may be my favorite way. Not only was there a good variety in the type of sessions- couples, family, even a little engagement session! Oh, and did I mention that dogs were involved too? I can’t even tell you how much I laughed with every single client.

It’s hard to explain how much these sessions meant to me. Wedding Photography will always be my passion, but this day reminded exactly what photography means to my clients too. Knowing that not only will they have these images to post on social media, but they’ll have them to share with family, hang on their walls, and send Christmas cards. Thinking about these photos being potential heirlooms is the reason I became a Photographer. And better yet, I had a blast capturing them. To me, there is no better gift, and it was exactly what I needed to get in the holiday spirit.
